The gathered had an opportunity to hear "Mazurka" by Dancel,"The Turkish March" from the A-major Sonata by Mozart, "The lead soldiers' march" by Kreisler, "The pizzicato Polka" by J.Strauss. The programme of the stay of the youth from Lvov in Poland certainly anticipated sightseeing the "Wieliczka" Salt Mine and other interesting places in the salt town.
During the official part of the event, taking part on 1st September, the school's director, Izabela Szota, read the Minister's of Culture and National Heritage letter addressed to the workers, parents and the students of artistic schools on the occassion of the inauguration of the school year.The artistic part of the event was provided by the Youth Chamber Orchestra from Lvov whose artistic director as well as the author of the music arrangements is Ms Margarita Kruk. The orchestra is made of the students of the Music School no 10 from Lvov. Both the soloists and the orchestra have performed the program made of the dances from different historical periods in a very interesting and precise way.
Thus began the new school year in the First Degree Music School in Wieliczka.
