The Town and Municipality of Wieliczka Office along with the District Starosty together are undertaking actions aiming at the improvement of safety on the roads in the area of our municipality and on those administered by the district.

New pavements for the pedestrians are being constructed along with the road surfaces – among others – in Gorzków and Koźmice Wielkie.

The Wieliczka Muncipality has allotted a sum of 200 thousand PLN to the district for the reconstruction of the district road no 2027k Wieliczka-Borzęta in the town Koźmice Wielkie, carried out by the GROTRANS firm.The final finishing works are underway – the roadsides are being replenished and an asphalt layer of the road is being laid. The railing,replenished and newly arranged along the pavement in the area of the health centre are to improve the safety on this busy fragment of the road. Apshalt exits from the road 2027k onto the municipal roads are to be made as well. Broadening of the road to 8 metres is also supposed to improve the safety on the curves.

The works conducted at the district road Wieliczka – Myślenice,on the fragment of the road from the intersection with the district road no 2026k, up to the intersection 1953k in the town of Gorzków, are being carried out by the TRANSMAR firm.

A dotation - a sum 440 thousand PLN – has been awarded by the Municipality to this cause.

Along this road 4 bus stop bays have been constructed and the road itself has been broadened on the 1 kilometer long section. 1500 m2 of a new pavement along with dehydration has also been laid. The works related to this road are especially significant, since a primary school attended by the little residents of our municipality is located here.
